How do I make a small GIF?
Keep it short (under 5–10 seconds), use a width of 320–480 px and 10–12 frames per second. Animated WebP is usually 2–3 times smaller than GIF with better colors.
Why does the GIF look better than in other converters?
The tool first builds a color palette from the clip itself, then maps every frame to it. This avoids most banding and noise that GIF’s 256 colors usually cause.
Where can I use animated WebP?
All current browsers, WhatsApp, Telegram and most websites support it. Some older apps and messaging services only accept GIF.
