    Stuck pixel fixer

    Runs locally

A stuck pixel sometimes recovers after rapid color changes. A dead (always black) pixel cannot be fixed this way.

Photosensitivity warning: this test uses flashing light and fast-changing images, and may play sounds. If you have epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light, do not use it.

Warning: this tool shows rapidly flashing colors. Do not use it if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light.

    Running time 00:00

Drag the box over the stuck pixel. Press Esc or click Stop to end.

    How to use

    1. Find the stuck pixel with the monitor test first.
    2. Choose full screen, or the small box and drag it over the pixel.
    3. Let it run for 10–20 minutes. Look away from the screen while it flashes.
    4. Check the pixel again. Repeat a few times if needed.

    Frequently asked questions

    Does it really work?

Sometimes. It helps with pixels stuck on one color, not with dead pixels or pixels that have physical damage.

    Can it damage my screen?

No. It only shows changing colors, like a video would.
