      How to use

      1. Turn off your VPN if you want to test your own provider; many VPNs disable IPv6.
      2. Press start and wait a few seconds.
      3. A score of 10 means IPv6 works, is preferred and is as fast as IPv4.

      Frequently asked questions

      Do I need IPv6?

      Today almost every site still works over IPv4, so you will not notice a difference in daily use. IPv6 avoids carrier-grade NAT, which can help with online gaming, hosting and peer-to-peer connections.

      IPv6 fails. How can I enable it?

      IPv6 must be supported by your provider and enabled on your router. Check the router's WAN or IPv6 settings, or ask your provider. Some mobile networks already offer IPv6 by default.

      Which service does this test use?
