    Stylus and pen test

Draw on the pad with your pen. Line width follows pressure; the panels show what the browser receives from the pen.

    How to use

    1. Draw a long line, starting very lightly and pressing harder towards the end. The pressure curve should rise smoothly.
    2. Tilt the pen while drawing; the indicator in the corner follows the angle.
    3. Hold the pen just above the screen to check hover, and press the side button or flip to the eraser.
    4. Press "Save result" to keep the measurements in your history.

    Frequently asked questions

Why do I see fewer pressure levels than the box says?

The counter shows how many different pressure values the browser actually received while you drew. Draw slowly from very light to very hard to reach more of them. Browsers and drivers often round values, so 8192 levels may show up as a few hundred or a few thousand.

Pressure is always 0.5 or 0. Is my pen broken?

That value means the browser treats the input as a mouse. Install or update the tablet driver; on Windows, enable Windows Ink in the driver settings.

What does the event delay show?

It is the time between the system creating the pen event and this page receiving it. It does not include the delay of the digitizer or the screen, so the real end-to-end latency is higher.
