      About

      KIOHW is a set of free hardware tests and PDF tools that work in the browser. It is made for quick checks: a new keyboard, a second-hand phone, a monitor before the return window closes, a microphone before a call, or a PDF that needs to be merged, signed or converted.

      Each test measures something concrete and explains what the numbers mean. Nothing needs to be installed, and your files and measurements stay on your device unless a tool clearly says otherwise.

      The site is available in English, Turkish, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian and Vietnamese.

      The video and audio tools use ffmpeg.wasm, which is licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later; its source code is available at https://github.com/ffmpegwasm/ffmpeg.wasm. Image decoding uses libheif (LGPL-3.0) and background removal uses ONNX Runtime (MIT) with the silueta model (Apache-2.0).
