    Frequently asked questions

    What is Bates numbering?

A legal and business standard to give every page of a document set a unique number, so pages can be referred to and nothing gets lost.

    Does numbering continue across files?

Yes. If the first file ends at 000012, the next file starts at 000013.

Can I stamp rotated or mixed-size pages?

Yes. The number is placed upright on each page as it is displayed, whatever its size or rotation.
