- Hold the code steady in the frame. It is read automatically.
- Copy the result, check the full link before opening it, or read the Wi-Fi password.
Frequently asked questions
Is the camera image sent anywhere?
No. Decoding happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded or stored.
Is it safe to open a scanned link?
QR codes can hide fake or harmful links. The scanner shows the full address and domain and never opens it automatically; check it before you tap Open.
It does not read my code.
Move closer so the code fills the frame, avoid glare, and make sure it is in focus. Very small or damaged codes may need a better photo. Some browsers also read other barcode types.
