      Frequently asked questions

      Which code type should I use?

      QR for links and longer text that phones should scan, Data Matrix for small labels, Code 128 for document or shipment numbers, EAN-13 for retail product codes (12–13 digits).

      How big should a QR code be?

      At least 20–25 mm for phone scanning on paper. Make it larger for long content or when it is scanned from a distance.

      Is it placed correctly on rotated pages?

      Yes. Position and orientation follow the page as it is displayed.
