    Frequently asked questions

What is the difference to PDF to JPG?

PDF to JPG takes a picture of each whole page. This tool saves the original images inside the PDF, at their own resolution and without the surrounding text.

    Why are some images missing?

Vector drawings, charts and text are not images. Very small images are skipped by the minimum size; set it to "All" to include them. Scanned PDFs usually contain one image per page.

    Is the quality reduced?

Images are saved at their original pixel size. PNG keeps them exactly; JPG makes smaller files.
