      Runs locally

      Existing bookmarks are loaded. Edit them, add new ones or create them from the headings in the document.

      How to use

      1. Choose or drop a PDF; its bookmarks appear in the list.
      2. Edit titles and page numbers, use → and ← to nest them, and ↑ ↓ to reorder.
      3. Or press From headings to create bookmarks automatically.
      4. Press Save PDF. The bookmarks panel opens when the PDF is opened.

      Frequently asked questions

      What are bookmarks?

      The clickable table of contents in the side panel of PDF readers. They make long documents much easier to navigate.

      How does "From headings" work?

      Lines in a larger font than the body text are treated as headings. It works best with documents exported from Word or similar programs.

      Can I remove all bookmarks?

      Yes: press Clear list and save.
