Comma or semicolon?
Excel uses your system's list separator. In countries with a decimal comma (Turkey, Germany, France…) choose semicolon so numbers and columns stay apart.
Why are characters wrong in Excel?
Keep "Excel compatible (UTF-8 BOM)" on: it tells Excel that the file is UTF-8, so special characters show correctly.
How accurate is the table detection?
It uses the same detection as PDF to Excel: clean tables convert well; merged cells and tables without clear column gaps may need small fixes.
